YOUR INFORMATION, EXPLAINED SIMPLY
Privacy notice
Updated October 4, 2026
This notice describes how this Bright Cub Books website uses information you choose to share.
The Bright Cub Club list
If you join the list, we save your email address, the date of your consent and the version of the consent wording. We use Brevo to manage the email updates you requested, and share your email address with that service. Your consent record and synchronization status remain in our site database. This website does not send an automatic welcome email.
Messages to us
Our contact form stores your name, email address and message so the Bright Cub Books team can review and respond to it. Please do not include children’s names, birthdays, photos or other personal details.
Cookies and technical data
If your email is newly added to the club list, we save a secure cookie that lets this browser remove that signup. This site uses short-lived, hashed network identifiers to limit repeated form submissions. Our hosting service also processes the technical data needed to deliver and secure the website. Optional analytics are loaded through Google Tag Manager only if you choose “Allow analytics.” We remember that choice in a cookie for up to six months. The site events describe book-link clicks, activity downloads and completed club signups. You can change your choice using “Cookie settings” in the footer.
Downloads and Amazon links
You can download the free activities without joining the club. Amazon links open Amazon’s website, where Amazon’s privacy terms apply. We do not operate a checkout on this website.
Your choices
You can remove a signup made in this browser below or use the unsubscribe link in an email from us. You can also use our contact form to ask about, correct or delete information you have shared. Removal requests are sent to Brevo; if the service is temporarily unavailable, we retain only the signup details needed to retry and show the request as pending. For requests made here, we remove the site signup record after Brevo confirms the removal. Brevo may retain your email address on its suppression list so that you are not accidentally subscribed again. A signup already blocked in Brevo is never automatically reactivated.
Checking this browser…
You can also use the unsubscribe link in an email from us. If you signed up on another device, use that device or contact us to request removal.
For grown-ups
The forms on this website are for parents, caregivers and other adults. Children can enjoy the printed activities without providing information to us.
